Mud Lab Flush Wall-Mount Rack: Pipettes, Grad Cylinders, JP Tube, Syringes & Tools
Mud Lab Flush Wall-Mount Rack: Pipettes, Grad Cylinders, JP Tube, Syringes & Tools
Made to order: printed for you after you order.
Gets the long, tippy glassware off the bench and onto the wall. Pipettes hang in collars over drip slots, graduated cylinders and the JP tube hang upside down on pegs to drain, syringes hang by their flanges, and 8 side pegs hold hand tools. Designed by a working mud engineer.
Bench space is the first thing you run out of in a rig lab. The long pieces are the worst. Pipettes roll, graduated cylinders get knocked over while they dry, and the JP tube never has a good place to stand.
This rack puts them on the wall. It's about 25.6 x 13.8 in and sits about 2.75 in off the wall. The 11 pipettes hang in a top row of collars, with drip slots underneath. The graduated cylinders and the JP tube slide mouth-down over pegs, so they drain straight down. The 3 syringes hang by their finger flanges over open space, so nothing pools under them. The side wings have 8 pegs for hand tools.
It comes as 9 panels that press together on dovetails, plus 5 peg inserts. Each panel hangs on its own keyholes. Peg codes are debossed on each insert and its socket, so every peg goes back in the right place.
Wall screws are not included.
- 11 pipettes hang in top collars over drip slots: 10 mL x2, 5 mL x3, 2 mL x3, 1 mL x3, 14.5 in long.
- Graduated cylinders and JP tube hang upside down on pegs to drain: one 50 mL, one 10 mL tall, two 10 mL, and the JP tube. Peg sizes (design): 50 mL peg 12.6 mm (0.50 in) across x 1.75 in tall; 10 mL tall peg 6.0 mm (0.24 in) x 1.75 in; two 10 mL pegs 8.6 mm (0.34 in) x 1.75 in; JP tube peg 4.0 mm (0.16 in) x 1 in. Each cylinder's mouth opening needs to be wider than its peg (13.7 / 6.5 / 9.3 / 4.3 mm across the peg's corners).
- 3 syringes (10 / 3 / 1 mL) hang by their flanges, with open space below for drips.
- 8 side pegs for hand tools. Each peg is 8 mm (0.31 in) round x 50 mm (about 2 in) long, angled 15° up, with an 11 mm (0.43 in) lip at the tip so tools don't slide off. 4 per side, stacked about 3-4 in apart (75 mm, with 100 mm across the panel seam). Hang tools by a hole or loop larger than 11 mm, or hook them over the peg.
- About 25.6 x 13.8 in on the wall, about 2.75 in deep. 9 dovetailed panels, each on its own keyholes. Wall screws not included.
- Debossed labels and peg codes. PLA standard, PETG upgrade for field or doghouse use.
What's in the box
- 9 x wall panels: left wing upper and lower, pipette collar row, pipette catch shelf, grad cylinder peg panel, JP collar panel, syringe shelf, right wing upper and lower
- 5 x peg inserts: 50 mL, 10 mL tall, 10 mL x2, JP tube
- Wall screws not included. Glassware and tools not included.
Assembly
Lay the panels face-up and press the dovetails together. Push each peg insert into the socket with its matching code. Mark the keyholes on the wall, set screws (not included), then hang the rack and slide it down. Glue the dovetails if you plan to take the rack down often.

Care
- Keep away from heat sources (retort, hot plate, hot truck cab); PLA softens around 55-60 °C.
- Wipe with soapy water or IPA only.
- Drips fall straight down from the pipettes, cylinders and syringes. Keep a mat or tray under the rack.
